Alpha Capital Anstalt Issues Scam and Fraud Alert Update

VADUZ, Liechtenstein, April 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- On February 20, 2025, Alpha Capital Anstalt issued a press release to warn the public of a recently-discovered scheme to impersonate Alpha Capital Anstalt and defraud individuals and corporate entities. In that alert, Alpha Capital Anstalt advised that fraudulent actors were posing as employees or agents of Alpha Capital Anstalt and falsely claiming to offer services of Alpha Capital Anstalt to third parties seeking investment funding.

The threat remains ongoing. Since the publication of its first press release, Alpha Capital Anstalt has received additional reports of scam artists pretending to be associated with Alpha Capital Anstalt. These criminals are aware that Alpha Capital Anstalt issued a warning about their activities, and have even attempted to explain away Alpha Capital Anstalt's February 20 fraud alert with the claim that the alert itself is not valid.   

Alpha Capital Anstalt is aware that the perpetrators of this scam have created at least one fake website – at alphacapitals.com – in order to further their fraudulent activities. This Alpha Capitals website is hosted at a domain that mimics Alpha Capital Anstalt's true domain and contains details about Alpha Capital Anstalt and individuals associated with Alpha Capital Anstalt designed to make the site look legitimate. The creators of the fake website may even have convinced certain third-party business directories to link to the site in order to enhance its appearance of legitimacy. 

Please note that the website at alphacapitals.com is not a legitimate website of Alpha Capital Anstalt. The individuals operating the Alpha Capitals website are not affiliated with and do not have authority to act on behalf of Alpha Capital Anstalt.

How to Protect Yourself

• If you are contacted by someone who claims to represent Alpha Capital Anstalt, please bear in mind:
  • The only legitimate Alpha Capital Anstalt website is at www.alphacapital.li
  • All individual Alpha Capital Anstalt email addresses end in @alphacapital.li. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from Alpha Capital Anstalt but the email address of the sender does NOT end in @alphacapital.li, that correspondence is not legitimate.

Please be aware that Alpha Capital Anstalt does not:

• Conduct business in cryptocurrency.
• Ask clients or prospective clients to transfer funds into a cryptocurrency wallet in order to confirm the existence of the funds or otherwise.
• Conduct any business via messaging programs such as WhatsApp or LinkedIn.
• Solicit business from the public in any manner.
• Use the name Alpha Capitals or the website alphacapitals.com
