ANAB Establishes the Digital Technology Initiative and AI Task Force

NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- ANAB is pleased to announce the launch of its Digital Technology Initiative (DTI). This strategic initiative is designed to accelerate a shared digital transformation vision across the organization by harmonizing our delivery of services, with an emphasis on enhancing the experience of clients, potential clients, scheme owners, benchmarking organizations, and regulatory bodies. 

A cornerstone of this initiative is the creation of ANAB's AI Task Force led by CEO of ConverGen AI Fabio Thiers and ANAB's associate director of conformity assessment strategy Brad Moore. The Task Force will focus on leveraging the power of AI solutions to build continuous monitoring capabilities and enhance ANAB's accreditation processes.

ANAB will establish a cross-functional team of staff, experts, and advisors to evaluate and support the deployment of high-impact digital tools that enhance the assessment of conformity assessment bodies. In addition, ANAB will support scheme owners and benchmarking organizations in a rapidly evolving digital environment, fostering trust and confidence in the conformity assessment chain of activities.

The initial focus will include:

• Exploring the role of AI in the accreditation process, including scheme owner engagement, client support, and operational processes
• Supporting the modernization of the accreditation process through ANAB's new state-of-the-art digital platforms
• Supporting continued engagement with scheme owners around the world and sharing data related to conformity and accreditation activities
• Harmonizing the digital workflow throughout ANAB's multiple accreditation disciplines and platforms to enhance staff, assessors, and client interaction, as well as integrating the assessment process
• Deploying digital accreditation certificates to authenticate and protect client accreditation information and to assure trust in the digital environment
• Enabling digital knowledge transfer through client interaction
