PLANO, Texas, Jan. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- AISIN Corporation, a top-ten Tier One global automotive supplier, has partnered with Sheeva.AI, a leading in-vehicle commerce platform, to provide customers of the AISIN Location-Based Services platform (LBS-SDK) with easy integration of payments within their In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems.

Using this novel solution, drivers can pay for many goods and services, such as gas, parking, and EV charging with just a tap on their vehicle's screen. Sheeva.AI will be highlighting this new solution Jan. 7-10 during CES 2025 at its booth (#6378), located in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

While known for its automotive parts, AISIN's Connected & Sharing Solutions (CSS) Department is also a global leader in automotive technology, having supplied navigation systems from the early embedded systems to vehicle-first hybrid systems for over four decades. How the new payment platform works

AISIN's In-Vehicle Payments solution leverages the LBS-SDK's high-accuracy location data and deep vehicle integration expertise. The solution combines Sheeva.AI's location-based payment platform, proprietary merchant geofence database, and detection algorithm to create a one-of-a-kind contextual payment experience that turns every vehicle into an intelligent digital wallet that activates when needed and disappears when it is not.

The payment solution also integrates AISIN's core navigation features. By combining AISIN's location-based services technology with Sheeva.AI's data, the AISIN system can now guide drivers directly to precise points of interest, such as parking spaces with an EV charger instead of a general hotel or shopping center parking lot. 

The solution aggregates merchants and service providers into a single payment account, enabling drivers to use one payment method for all services. A single payment account eliminates the need for drivers to sign up for multiple apps and programs. For example, EV charging can be as easy as pulling up to a charger and plugging in, delivering today on the "Plug and Charge" goal of the ISO 15118 standard.

This new payment platform is production-ready and is already being integrated with several OEMs globally.
