Temple-Inland (NYSE: TIN) recently sold off on a filed lawsuit accusing the company of causing the failure of Guaranty Bank which it spun off in 2007. International Paper (NYSE: IP) has proposed on June 6 to acquire the company for $30.60 in cash. September put option implied volatility is at 92, October is at 87; above its six-month average 43 according to Track Data.
