Staples (SPLS) volatility elevated as shares pull back on weak international operations

Staples (Nasdaq: SPLS) is recently down 85c to $13.90 in the premarket on Q1 earnings fell 5.6%. Oppenheimer say’s “Top line trends remain challenged.” Overall option implied volatility of 44 is above its 26-week average of 35 according to Track Data.
