Priceline.com (PCLN) Volatility Up Heading into Q1 Numbers; Strong Gains Expected
Priceline.com (Nasdaq: PCLN) volatility is 4.5 percent higher on the session as the company moves in to report quarterly results, expected out after the market closes.
Implied volatility is up 162 percent over its historical annual average.
The Street currently sees priceline reporting first-quarter EPS of 3.94 on revs of $1.04 billion. Numbers compare with EPS of $2.66 and revs of $809.3 million reported in the same period last year.
Shares of priceline are about 0.5 percent better heading into the close.
