Google (GOOG) Volatility Rises Amid InterDigital (IDCC), Intel (INTC) Patent Deal

Volatility for Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) is up following the announcement that InterDigital (Nasdaq: IDCC) is in a $375 million patent deal with Intel (Nasdaq: INTC).

Market data has volatility up 2.4 percent from last Friday's close.

Shares of Google are up 0.8 percent on the session. Investors will be watching Google, which just closed its $12.5 billion acquisition of Motorola Mobility and has been in patent litigation with others in the tech sector.
