Goldman Sachs' option strategists are recommending buying healthcare options ahead of the Goldman Sachs healthcare CEO unscripted conference on January 5.
"Buying January options in healthcare stocks ahead of this event is attractive as one month vs three month term structure is near historical lows, suggesting that the market is not expecting material stock moving catalysts in the coming month," they said.
They highlighted options for Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY), Merck & Co. (NYSE: MRK), Celgene (Nasdaq: CELG), Allergan (NYSE: AGN), Watson Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: WPI), Medtronic (NYSE: MDT), Humana (NYSE: HUM), Biogen Idec (Nasdaq: BIIB)
