HSBC initiates coverage on Potash Corp. (NYSE: POT) with a Buy rating, price target $24.25.
Analyst Alex Falcao expects the merger with Agrium could diversify earnings and unlock cash while bringing additional synergies. The analyst believes the current valuation fails to reflect prospective synergies from the merger.
