Raymond James Starts Bristow Group (VTOL) at Outperform

Raymond James analyst Savanthi Syth initiates coverage on Bristow Group (NYSE: VTOL) with a Outperform rating and a price target of $60.00.

The analyst commented: "We are initiating coverage of VTOL with an Outperform rating and $60 target price. We believe Bristow is a well-managed business with meaningfully improving earnings quality entering 2027, following the completion of the Government Services segment expansion, and see upside to our forecast based on the Raymond James Energy team’s constructive offshore energy market view in 2027. Moreover, we expect twin-engine helicopter and parts supply constraints to continue, supporting capacity discipline and, in turn, pricing. These dynamics further entrench Bristow’s relative advantages conferred by its greater scale and stronger balance sheet. Longer term, we also believe the implementation of AAM should provide new earnings growth opportunities. Our constructive view is further supported by inferred 2027 buy-side bogeys that are undemanding vs. our estimates and consensus. We expect multiple expansion over time as investors gain greater appreciation for more stable earnings stream given the significant Government Services segment (with long-dated contracts) and an Offshore Energy Services segment that has greater exposure (85%) to less commodity price-sensitive production activity."
