Jefferies initiates coverage on Onyx Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ONXX) with a Buy. PT $44.00.
The firm comments, "Onyx shares are poised to outperform as the company submits carfilzomib, treatment for multiple myeloma. We estimate 70% likelihood of U.S. approval in 2012 based on our due diligence. Furthermore, Nexavar sales, approved for renal cell cancer and liver cancer, may benefit from near-term clinical data."
