Jefferies Starts GTX Inc. (GTXI) at Buy

Jefferies initiates coverage on GTX Inc. (NASDAQ: GTXI) with a Buy. PT $6.00.

The firm comments, "We believe GTXI shares will outperform over the next 12-18 months as the company could report Phase III data from the Ostarine's POWER-1 and -2 trials by early 2013. If successful, Ostarine could fill a significant unmet need in patients with non-small cell lung cancer that are at high risk of developing muscle wasting. Nearer-term, upside may come from Phase II data from Capesaris in prostate cancer, and should drive Phase III trials."
