Goldman Sachs initiated coverage on Keysight Technologies (NYSE: KEYS) with a Neutral rating and a price target of $32.00.
Analyst James Covello said, "While we expect medium-term fundamentals to be stable, we believe 2015 will be a year of transition for the company, as higher opex from increased R&D and spin dis-synergies will likely weigh on earnings growth. We believe the stock is close to fairly valued given slow earnings growth but solid free cash flow. We could become more constructive if Keysight successfully executes on growth initiatives (wireless, software, modular) and begins returning cash to shareholders."
