Goldman Sachs resumes coverage on LPL Investment (NASDAQ: LPLA) with a Neutral. PT $36.00.
With 13,000 independent Financial Advisors, Goldman sees the company as a structural leader in Wealth Management. With 63% of revenues coming from recurring sources, the model is less susceptible to activity-related challenges, they also said. The recently-introduced $0.48/year dividend illustrates the strong balance sheet, with opportunities for additional hikes.
With all this said, however, near-term outlook remains somewhat choppy, and higher incentive related payouts to brokers may stress GDC margin in the near term.
