Dougherty & Co initiates coverage on Interactive Intelligence (NASDAQ: ININ) with a Buy. PT $45.
Dougherty analyst says, "Interactive Intelligence is a pioneer in offering multi-channel (phone, email, and web chat, etc.), Session Initiation Protocol- or SIP-based, all-in-one software solution that enables contact center agents and supervisors to handle both inbound customer interactions across various
channels and outbound marketing campaigns. According to Industry research firm Gartner, IP agent shipment is expected to increase about 15% each to both contact center and enterprises (line of businesses excluding contact center) through 2015, and we expect Interactive Intelligence to be a continued beneficiary of the ongoing call center/enterprise telephony transformation."
"Although Interactive Intelligence competes with large brand-name vendors such as Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) and Avaya (NYSE: AV), our conversations with customers and partners suggest that Interactive Intelligence all-in-one standardsbased solution is cost-effective and more flexible, and hence, it is superior to other current market offering."
