Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Richard Anderson initiates coverage on Centerspace (NYSE: CSR) with a Neutral rating and a price target of $62.00.
The analyst comments: "We rate CSR Neutral based on a $62 price target (5.6% upside from current levels), which assumes a 2026E AFFO multiple of 14.6x (versus a 17.9x average for the property sector peers). We identified CSR as a REIT to watch in 2026 as it executes its portfolio management process and threads the needle between being different yet institutional – the Salt Lake City expansion is one example of that. However, the process also needs to create a larger market cap and at least stable leverage to earn broader investor appeal. We expect CSR to pursue additional portfolio enhancements with the hope of being rewarded with a better valuation."
