Shares of Dell (Nasdaq: DELL) ripped higher on Monday after Bloomberg reported that private equity firms are considering a potential buyout. Shares were immediatey halted on the rumors and investors wasted no time bidding up shares of PC maker Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ).
