Checkpoint (CKP) Shares Moving Amid Reports Activists May Step Up

Shares of Checkpoint Systems (NYSE: CKP) are volatile this morning as DealReporter is saying activists investors in the company may succeed in shaking up management.

DealReporter calls Honeywell (NYSE: HON), 3M (NYSE: MMM), Danaher (NYSE: DHR) and Avery Dennison (NYSE: AVY) as possible bidders. Sources also suggests PE firms may be interested in Checkpoint, however the company is not an ideal buyout.
