According to an earlier report from video game developing site Gamasutra, Zynga (Nasdaq: ZNGA) has acquired the female-focused casual gaming company Wild Needle.
Shares of Zynga are up more than 5.5 percent this afternoon. The stock opened Monday's trading session down from Friday's closing price.
