SolarWinds (NYSE: SWI), announced that it has acquired certain assets of privately-held DameWare Development LLC for $40 million in cash. DameWare sells software tools to companies that allow system administrators to remotely manage the computers on their networks.
SolarWinds expects sales of the DameWare products to generate approximately $100,000 to $200,000 in revenue and to be break-even on a non-GAAP operating income basis during the remainder of 2011.
