General Electric (NYSE: GE) may be looking to part ways with its $3 billion railcar leasing business.
The business, which has $3 billion of assets, might see bids from such firms as Warburg Pincus, TPG Capital, Cereberus, and Apollo Management, sources told Reuters Thursday morning.
Meetings between GE and the firms have taken place over the last several weeks following submission of initial offers in early May.
Final bids are expected to be submitted by June 23, according to Reuters.
