U.S. Stock Futures Sharply Higher; Dow Up 300
U.S. futures are pointing to a sharply higher open Tuesday, the day after a long Labor Day weekend, which follows gains in China and Europe.
Dow futures are up 296, S&P 500 futures are up 37 and Nasdaq futures are up 77.
China stock gained despite news that import fell 13.8 percent from last year. CSI300 index closed up 2.57 percent, while Shanghai was up 2.93 percent. Meanwhile, volume was the lowest since February.
