NEW YORK (Reuters) -Wall Street extended its rally on Friday, sending S&P 500 and Nasdaq to all-time closing highs as trade deal hopes fueled investor risk appetite and economic data helped solidify expectations for rate cuts from the U.S. Federal Reserve.
Stocks pared gains after U.S. President Donald Trump terminated trade negotiations with Canada in response to its digital tax on technology companies.

(Reuters) -Canada's commodity-linked main stock index rose on Thursday to a record high as copper prices jumped and investors grew optimistic that the Federal Reserve would resume its easing campaign.
The S&P/TSX composite index ended up 185.63 points, or 0.7%, at 26,751.95, eclipsing Tuesday's record closing high.

NEW YORK (Reuters) -Wall Street closed higher on Thursday, nudging the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq nearer to record closing highs as the Israel-Iran ceasefire continued to hold and a raft of economic indicators appeared to support the case for the U.S. Federal Reserve lowering borrowing costs this year.
All three major U.S. stock indexes advanced in a broad rally which placed them on track for weekly gains.

(Reuters) -U.S. stocks took a breather on Wednesday, pausing a two-day rally as the tenuous Israel-Iran cease fire continued to hold and investors pored over a second day of congressional testimony from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
Tech shares lifted the Nasdaq, while the S&P 500 ended flat. The benchmark index remained within striking distance of its record closing high reached on February 19.
