Stocks Higher After Strong Black Friday Weekend

Coming off a miserable week for equities, U.S. stocks futures are pointing to a sharply higher opening Monday on the back of some impressive Black Friday numbers.

Dow Jones futures are up 241, Nasdaq 100 futures are up 52 and S&P 500 futures are up 31.

U.S. retailers saw sales surge over 16 percent from last year to a record $52.4 billion over the Black Friday weekend.

Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) said customers purchased 4 times as many Kindle devices as they did last Black Friday.
