Stocks Give Up Most of Mid-Day Gains

Continuing today's roller coaster session, stocks have now given up most of their gains with the S&P up just 1, the Dow up 34 and the Nasdaq down 11.

The Fed started a 2-day meeting today and is widely expected to remove the "considerable time" comment on rates.
