Zentek CEO Greg Fenton to depart in March 2026

Zentek Ltd. (NASDAQ: ZTEK) (TSX-V: ZEN) announced that its board of directors will not extend the consulting contract for Chief Executive Officer Greg Fenton when it expires on March 31, 2026. The company has initiated a search for Fenton's replacement.

The intellectual property technology development company stated that its current executive team will continue to lead operations until a successor is appointed. Fenton has served as CEO for seven years, according to the company's statement.

"On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Greg for guiding Zentek on its path of growth and diversification over the past seven years, and for his stewardship of the business," said Eric Wallman, Chairman of the board of directors.

Wallman added that the board is committed to ensuring the new CEO will drive Zentek's transition from research and development to commercialization.

Zentek operates as an ISO 13485:2016 certified technology company focused on research, development and commercialization of products for commercial partners. The company's patented ZenGUARD technology platform targets bacterial and viral filtration efficiency for surgical masks and HVAC filters, with production facilities located in Guelph, Ontario.

The company also holds a global exclusive license to aptamer-based platform technology developed by McMaster University through its subsidiary Triera Biosciences Ltd. This technology is being jointly developed for diagnostic and therapeutic markets.
