Xanadu Quantum Technologies Inc. appointed Michael Trzupek as chief financial officer and Natalie Wilmore as chief legal officer, the Canadian quantum computing company announced.

Trzupek joins from Imagination Technologies, where he led global finance and IT operations. He previously served as executive vice president and CFO at Core Scientific, helping take the blockchain infrastructure company public. His background includes seven years at Microsoft and ten years at Intel in finance leadership roles.

Wilmore comes from Pagaya Technologies, where she served as vice president, deputy general counsel and corporate secretary. She has experience with public company operations at Skillz Inc., Exela Technologies, TelevisaUnivision and IBM, focusing on corporate governance, securities law and mergers and acquisitions.

The appointments come as Xanadu pursues a business combination with Crane Harbor Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: CHAC), a special purpose acquisition company. The combined entity, to be called Xanadu Quantum Technologies Limited, expects to receive approximately $500 million in gross proceeds, including $225 million from Crane Harbor's trust account and $275 million from institutional investors.

The new company plans to list on both the Nasdaq Stock Market and Toronto Stock Exchange upon completion of the transaction, which requires shareholder and regulatory approvals.

Founded in 2016, Xanadu develops photonic quantum computing hardware and software, including the open-source PennyLane software library for quantum computing applications.
