Waystar names Alpana Wegner as new CFO effective August 1

Waystar (Nasdaq: WAY) has appointed Alpana Wegner as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 1, 2026, according to a company statement.
Wegner succeeds Steve Oreskovich, who has served as Waystar's CFO for eight years and is stepping down for personal reasons. Oreskovich will remain with the company as an advisor through June 15, 2027.
Wegner brings more than 25 years of finance and operational experience at publicly traded technology companies. She most recently served as CFO of Integral Ad Science, a global media technology platform. Prior to that, she held CFO roles at Secureworks, a cybersecurity provider, and Benefitfocus, a software platform for employee benefits administration. Earlier in her career, she held senior finance roles at Blackbaud, a cloud software provider. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University.
