Watts Water Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: WTS) today announced that William C. McCartney, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, has decided to retire after more than 27 years of service, including more than 12 years as Chief Financial Officer. The Company is commencing a search for a successor to Mr. McCartney. The Company expects to enter into a retention agreement with Mr. McCartney pursuant to which Mr. McCartney will remain in the position of Chief Financial Officer until a successor is named and will remain with the Company until December 2012 to assist with the transition process.
