Vision Marine Technologies names Maxime Poudrier as COO

Vision Marine Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: VMAR) appointed Maxime Poudrier as Chief Operating Officer, the company announced August 27.

Poudrier previously served as Head of Growth & Strategic Partnerships at Vision Marine, where he worked on the industrialization of the company's E-Motion 180E high-voltage propulsion system. In his new role, he will oversee operations including OEM and vendor management, budgeting, sales alignment, and human capital planning.

"Maxime has demonstrated the rare ability to combine entrepreneurial drive with disciplined execution," said Alexandre Mongeon, Chief Executive Officer. "His expertise in M&A, global partnerships, and structured leadership is exactly what Vision Marine needs as we scale our electrification platform and expand through Nautical Ventures."

Poudrier brings over 10 years of executive experience across automotive, mobility, and industrial sectors. He previously became the youngest self-made dealer principal in Canada and advised on international M&A transactions for manufacturers including ArcelorMittal. He completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School.

Vision Marine designs and manufactures electric propulsion systems for marine applications and operates nine retail locations in Florida through its Nautical Ventures division. The company serves both recreational boaters and commercial operators with electric and internal combustion engine solutions.
