UiPath (NYSE: PATH) announced a series of executive leadership changes, including the promotion of Hitesh Ramani to chief financial officer and the appointment of Yazdi Bagli to its board of directors, according to a company statement.
Ramani, who joined UiPath in 2021 as chief accounting officer before becoming deputy CFO in 2024, will lead the company's global financial and accounting organization. He has more than 25 years of finance experience, including two decades as a partner at Deloitte.
With Ramani's move to CFO, Ashim Gupta will retain his role as chief operating officer, focusing on day-to-day operations and go-to-market execution. Gupta previously served as CFO, a role he held from 2019 through the company's 2021 initial public offering, before adding COO responsibilities in 2024.
Brad Brubaker's title has been expanded from chief legal officer and general counsel to chief legal and administrative officer. In the expanded role, Brubaker will also oversee the company's people organization. Chief people officer Agi Garaba will continue leading HR and talent functions, reporting to Brubaker. Brubaker joined UiPath in 2019 after more than 25 years at SAP.
Bagli, currently executive vice president of IT and enterprise business services at Kaiser Permanente and on leave while completing a fellowship at Harvard University, joins the UiPath board effective immediately. He previously held senior technology roles at Walmart and spent more than 20 years at Procter & Gamble. Bagli holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Shivaji University and an MBA from the University of Mumbai.
"Our planned leadership changes are a logical next step for our team, reflect the strength and depth of our leadership bench, and position us to operate with even greater speed and accountability," said Daniel Dines, UiPath founder and chief executive officer.
