Trans Canada Gold appoints Michael Magrum as VP of mining operations
Trans Canada Gold Corp. (TSX-V: TTG) (OTCQB: TTGXF) appointed Michael Magrum as Vice-President of Mining Operations and key technical advisor, effective immediately, according to a company statement.
Magrum will oversee technical management of the company's gold and mineral properties and conduct due diligence for new property acquisitions. The geological engineer has 40 years of gold exploration experience, beginning his career in 1971 at the Yellowknife gold mining camp.
A graduate of Haileybury School of Mines and the University of Alaska, Magrum previously served as a director of Seabridge Gold Inc. and currently serves as a director of Rochester Resources Ltd., a silver and gold producer operating in Mexico. He also held leadership positions with the Prospector and Developers Association of Canada and the Northwest Territories Chamber of Mines.

The company stated it is finalizing due diligence on a gold mineral exploration project in Canada that has mine and drill permits in place and a historical gold resource with a pending NI 43-101 Property Report. Trans Canada Gold plans to complete the property acquisition early in the new year.
Trans Canada Gold operates as both an oil and gas development company and gold mineral exploration company, focusing on conventional heavy oil properties in Alberta, Canada, and gold and silver mineral assets.
