Thermal Energy promotes Vincent Sands to executive vice president
Thermal Energy International Inc. (TSXV: TMG) (OTCQB: TMGEF) announced the appointment of Vincent Sands as Executive Vice President, effective immediately. Sands will continue serving as President of the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Boilerroom Equipment Inc.
Sands joined Thermal Energy in 2018 when the company acquired Boilerroom Equipment Inc., which he founded. In his expanded role, he will provide leadership for Thermal Energy's new indirect sales channel strategy.
The company plans to leverage Boilerroom Equipment's network of independent manufacturers' representatives across North America for broader application, particularly for standardized equipment including GEM Trap products. Thermal Energy also intends to expand Boilerroom Equipment's HeatSponge condensing heat recovery economizer technologies into Europe.
"With over three decades of experience in sales and engineering, Vincent is exceptionally well-suited to provide leadership and guidance for both initiatives in his expanded role as EVP," said William Crossland, Thermal Energy CEO.
Sands earned his Professional Engineer registration in 2001 and holds a degree in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He served as an engineering officer in both the U.S. Navy Reserve and the U.S. Merchant Marine.
Thermal Energy provides energy efficiency and emissions reduction solutions to Fortune 500 and other large multinational companies. The company operates engineering offices in Ottawa, Canada, Pittsburgh, USA, and Bristol, UK, with sales offices in multiple countries including Canada, UK, USA, Germany, Poland, and Italy.
