Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) has appointed Scott A. Ernest as president and chief executive officer of its general aviation business, Cessna Aircraft Company.
Ernest joins Textron from General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE), where he served as vice president and general manager, global supply chain for GE Aviation.
Ernest earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Akron and a master of science degree in engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
