Teads (NASDAQ: TEAD) appointed Mollie Spilman as Chief Commercial Officer, effective November 10. Spilman will oversee global commercial strategy and execution, working with regional leadership and partners to drive growth for marketers, agencies and content creators.

The appointment follows the merger of Outbrain and Teads earlier this year, which created a unified advertising platform. Spilman will report to CEO David Kostman.

Spilman brings experience building commercial organizations in digital media and technology. She served as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Criteo for five years when the company grew revenues from $600 million to over $2 billion. She most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Oracle Advertising, where she helped clients with third-party audience and contextual targeting, ad verification and brand safety measurement. She previously held senior roles at Millennial Media and Yahoo.

"As we continue integrating our commercial operations post-merger and scaling our outcomes-driven platform globally, Mollie's leadership, client-focus, and operational rigor will be essential in driving commercial excellence and growing our strategic partnerships with global agencies and brands," Kostman said.

Spilman said the opportunity to help shape digital advertising through innovation in the open internet, connected TV, retail media and artificial intelligence attracted her to join Teads.

Teads describes itself as an omnichannel outcomes platform for the open internet. The company is partnered with more than 10,000 publishers and 20,000 advertisers globally and has nearly 1,800 employees in 30-plus countries.
