Targa Resources Corp. (NYSE: TRGP) announced leadership changes effective September 1, 2026, including the hiring of a former Enterprise Products Partners executive and an internal CFO appointment.

Brent B. Secrest will join Targa as President - Logistics and Transportation. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Enterprise Products Partners L.P., where he oversaw commercial activities across natural gas, NGL, crude oil, petrochemical, and export operations. Secrest brings more than two decades of midstream energy experience.

Benjamin J. Branstetter, who has held the President - Logistics and Transportation role since March 2026, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Branstetter joined Targa in April 2017 and has been involved in corporate development, commercial, optimization, and supply functions. He previously worked in investment banking, corporate strategy, and risk management.

The CFO appointment follows the planned retirement of William A. Byers, who has served as CFO for the past two years. Byers will move into an advisory role through the end of 2026 to support the transition.

The changes were approved by Targa's Board of Directors. CEO Matt Meloy attributed the appointments to the depth of experience each individual brings to their respective roles.
