TP (Paris: TEP) has appointed Benoit Gabelle as Group Chief Financial Officer on a permanent basis, effective immediately, according to a company statement.

Gabelle had served as Interim Group CFO since March 2026, when Jorge Amar was appointed Chief Executive Officer. He originally joined TP in 2022 as Group Deputy CFO, overseeing financial reporting and consolidation, corporate accounting, tax, and finance transformation.

During his tenure, Gabelle was involved in the deployment of unified financial systems, the integration of Majorel, and the refinancing of the group alongside its efficiency program.

Before joining TP, Gabelle spent 17 years in France and Hong Kong, working first with KPMG and then with EY, where he was a partner specializing in international taxation and transfer pricing.

In the CFO role, Gabelle is expected to focus on delivering shareholder value through the group's transformation, supporting operations, modernizing the finance function, and strengthening investor relations and group financing.

CEO Jorge Amar said: "Benoit's confirmation as Group CFO is a well-deserved recognition of the strong leadership he has demonstrated at TP. Since stepping into the role on an interim basis, he has shown the strategic clarity and steady leadership our finance function needs as we advance TP's transformation and integrate AI within our processes."
