Synaptics Incorporated (NASDAQ: SYNA) announced that Chief Financial Officer Ken Rizvi resigned on August 20, 2026, effective immediately, to pursue a new opportunity.
Rizvi will remain with the company in an advisory capacity through September 30, 2026, continuing to receive his current compensation and benefits during that period. The company stated that his resignation was not related to any disagreement over operations, accounting, or company policies.
Synaptics said it will not conduct a search for a replacement CFO, citing the pending merger with ON Semiconductor Corporation announced on June 25, 2026. Rahul Patel, the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, will serve as principal financial officer until the merger closes. Patel will not receive additional compensation for the interim role.
