Supremex names Normand Macaulay as chief financial officer

Supremex Inc. (TSX: SXP) announced the appointment of Normand Macaulay as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, effective September 15, 2025.



Macaulay brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in finance and operations with manufacturing and distribution companies. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Nitrex, a heat treatment solutions provider. Prior to joining Nitrex in 2019, he spent eight years at Wajax Corporation in senior finance roles, including Vice President Finance. He also held positions with Accent-Fairchild Group Inc. and KPMG Canada.



The new CFO holds the CPA designation and earned a Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University.



"His strong background in corporate finance, M&A, and process optimization will play key roles in achieving operational excellence and driving profitable growth," said Stewart Emerson, President and CEO of Supremex.



Emerson thanked Silvana Reyes Ayllon for serving as interim CFO during the transition period.



Supremex manufactures and markets envelopes and paper-based packaging solutions in North America. The company operates nine manufacturing facilities across four Canadian provinces and five facilities in four U.S. states, employing approximately 900 people.
