StablecoinX names former Franklin Templeton executive as CEO
StablecoinX Inc. (Nasdaq: USDE) has appointed Christopher Jensen as Chief Executive Officer and member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately, according to a company statement.
Jensen joins from Franklin Templeton, where he served as Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and Director of Digital Asset Research. He was a founding member of Franklin Templeton's digital asset group, established in 2018, and served on its leadership team. Prior to that role, he held positions at SLR Capital Partners and CIT Group. He holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Princeton University.
Jensen succeeds Ted Chen, who led StablecoinX through its public listing in June 2026 and will remain with the company as Chairman of the Board, focusing on long-term strategy, capital markets positioning, and the company's partnership with Ethena.
In his new role, Jensen will oversee StablecoinX's three business lines — Infrastructure Services, Infrastructure Software, and Distribution Services — as well as the company's treasury strategy. That treasury holds approximately 3.03 billion ENA tokens, representing roughly 20% of total supply, which the company claims makes it the largest corporate holder of Ethena's governance token.
"My focus is converting that premise into results," Jensen said in the statement. "That means building durable, revenue-generating infrastructure around the Ethena ecosystem, deepening our strategic relationship with Ethena, and communicating with the market with the rigor institutional investors expect."
StablecoinX describes itself as a company built to advance the Ethena digital dollar ecosystem, operating across infrastructure and distribution services.
