Sranan Gold names Jonathan Yan as new CFO
Sranan Gold Corp. (CSE: SRAN) (OTCQB: SRANF) (FSE: P84) appointed Jonathan Yan as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, according to a company statement. Yan replaces John Alcock, who resigned from his positions as CFO and Director but will assist during the transition period.
Yan brings 13 years of financial reporting experience, including 10 years in public accounting. He specializes in management advisory services and financial disclosure requirements for public companies. Yan currently serves as CFO for multiple companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange.
Sranan Gold operates in mineral exploration and property acquisition in Suriname. The company's primary asset is the Tapanahony Project, spanning 29,000 hectares in an artisanal gold mining region. The company recently acquired the 18,468-hectare Lawatino Project in southeastern Suriname along the Central Guiana Shear Zone.
