Sinch CEO Laurinda Pang to step down by end of 2026
Sinch AB (Stockholm: SINCH) announced that CEO Laurinda Pang will step down from her position, according to a company statement. Pang informed the board of directors of her intention to leave the role and will remain active as CEO until a successor is appointed, but no later than December 31, 2026.
The board has initiated a process to secure a structured transition to new leadership. Erik Fröberg, chairman of the board of directors, said Pang made significant contributions to the company during a period of integration and change, noting that under her leadership Sinch delivered improved profitability and solid cash flow.
"It has been a privilege to lead Sinch and work together with our talented team to transform our company for the future," Pang said in the statement. "Sinch is in a strong position, and I believe this is the right time to transition to the next phase of leadership."
Pang stated she will remain fully committed to her role until a successor is in place and will work closely with the board to ensure a seamless transition. The company published the announcement on May 7, 2026, at 07:40 CEST as required under EU Market Abuse Regulation.
Sinch operates in the digital communications sector, providing cloud communications services to businesses globally.
