Silver Bow Mining names Doug Stiles as president

Silver Bow Mining Corp. (NYSE American: SBMT) announced the appointment of Doug Stiles as president, according to a company statement. Stiles had previously served as vice president of regulatory and external affairs at the company since February 2026 and will continue to report to Travis Naugle, chairman and chief executive officer.

Stiles holds a BS in environmental engineering from Montana Technological University and an MBA from Washington State University. He has more than 25 years of experience in permitting, developing, operating, and remediating mining projects in Montana, including the Rock Creek copper-silver project, the Montanore copper-silver project, and the Troy Mine.

Before joining Silver Bow Mining, Stiles served as director of environmental operations at Hecla Mining Company, where he directed state and federal permitting for the Rock Creek project and led the closure of the Troy Mine. He also previously served as vice president of corporate affairs at Revett Silver Company.

"Doug's appointment reflects our commitment to building a leadership team with deep Montana mining experience as we advance our Rainbow Block Project," Naugle said.

In his new role, Stiles will oversee technical, regulatory, operational, and stakeholder engagement functions as the company advances its Rainbow Block Project, located on private patented lands in the Butte Mining District under the jurisdiction of the Montana Department of Environmental Quality.

"Throughout my career, I have believed that successful mining is built on technical excellence, environmental responsibility, and earning the trust of regulators, local communities, and other stakeholders," Stiles said.

Silver Bow Mining holds approximately 4,193 acres of patented mineral claims and approximately 1,410 acres of surface lands in Montana's Butte Mining District.
