Silvaco appoints Chris Zegarelli as chief financial officer

Silvaco Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SVCO) appointed Chris Zegarelli as chief financial officer, effective September 15. Zegarelli will report directly to CEO Dr. Walden Rhines.

Zegarelli brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the semiconductor industry. He most recently served as senior vice president of finance at Infineon Technologies, where he led integration and strategic planning following the company's $830 million acquisition of GaN Systems, where he had previously served as CFO.

His experience includes CFO roles at Thermal Engineering International and Indie Semiconductor, as well as senior finance positions at Broadcom and Qualcomm. His expertise spans investor relations, financing, financial reporting, forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, operations and strategic planning.

Silvaco provides TCAD, EDA software, and SIP solutions for semiconductor design and digital twin modeling. The Santa Clara, California-based company serves markets including display, power devices, automotive, memory, high performance compute, foundries, photonics, internet of things, and 5G/6G mobile applications.
