Shoulder Innovations names Jon Osborne as chief commercial officer

Shoulder Innovations, Inc. (NYSE: SI) announced the promotion of Jon Osborne to chief commercial officer, effective August 6, 2026. Osborne previously served as vice president of commercial development at the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based medical technology company.
In his new role, Osborne will oversee all elements of the company's commercial organization and work with its customer experience and medical education team. He joined Shoulder Innovations in September 2023.
Before joining Shoulder Innovations, Osborne held positions at Smith & Nephew Inc. from 2014 to 2023, most recently as vice president of commercial marketing for the sports medicine business in the Americas. Earlier roles at Smith & Nephew included area vice president of sales and director of global marketing. Prior to that, he held sales management, global marketing, and general management positions at ArthroCare Corporation, Tornier USA, and Team Surgical, Inc. from 1998 to 2014.
Osborne holds a bachelor of arts in public relations from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a master of business administration from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.
CEO Rob Ball said in a statement that the promotion reflects Osborne's role as "a key architect of our go-to-market strategy" and his experience across the orthopedic industry.
