Senvest Capital Inc. (TSX: SEC) announced the death of founder Victor Mashaal, who served as president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Mashaal died at age 87 following a brief illness.

"My father founded the Corporation in 1968," said Richard Mashaal, director and vice-president of the corporation. "He guided the Corporation through a series of transformations that ensured its continued success across evolving economies and business cycles."
The company's Montreal offices will be closed through January 5, 2026, in recognition of Victor Mashaal's passing.
