Robo.ai names three executives to lead UAE subsidiary Neurovia AI
Robo.ai Inc. (NASDAQ: AIIO) has appointed three senior executives to its UAE-based subsidiary Neurovia AI, an AI visual data processing and compression technology company, according to a press release issued July 14, 2026.
Khalifa Mohammed Alshehhi has been named Chief Executive Officer, Ziad Shaltuni Chief Growth Officer, and Ahmed Alhashmi Chief Marketing Officer. All appointments are effective immediately.
Alshehhi brings more than three decades of senior leadership experience, including positions at the UAE Ministry of Interior and Etisalat, a Gulf telecommunications operator. Shaltuni previously served as Chief Sales and Customer Care Officer at Mobily, the Saudi telecommunications operator, where he held profit-and-loss responsibility for a revenue portfolio exceeding $5 billion and led a sales and customer operations organization of more than 3,000 people. Alhashmi held senior roles at Etisalat Group and Abu Dhabi Global Market, and oversaw cumulative marketing investments exceeding $400 million during his tenure at Mobily and Etisalat.
The three appointments follow the earlier naming of a Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Neurovia AI. The subsidiary has released its NeuroStream platform and completed technical validation at the 9th International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience.
Benjamin Zhai, Chief Executive Officer of Robo.ai, said: "With these appointments in place, Neurovia AI has the full organizational capability to undertake government and enterprise-grade projects across the region."
