Renegade Gold names Devin Pickell as president and CEO
Renegade Gold Inc. (TSXV: RAGE) appointed Devin Pickell as president, chief executive officer and director, the Vancouver-based mining company announced.
Pickell, a registered professional geologist with 20 years of experience in mineral production and exploration, specializes in advancing gold and lithium projects across North America. He previously held roles in the Rice Lake region of the Red Lake greenstone belt, where he contributed to the sale of the Rice Lake mine to Klondex Mines and the discovery of multiple deposits.
The company also announced leadership changes, with Nav Dhaliwal resigning as CEO and John Newell stepping down as president. Both individuals will remain as directors. David Velisek resigned from his director position.
"Our priority is to re-evaluate our core Red Lake assets, including Newman Todd, Sidace and Confederation, with a fresh technical team, establish a clear baseline and drive the next phase of advancement," Pickell said in the announcement.
Renegade Gold focuses on mineral property acquisition, exploration and development in Ontario's Red Lake Mining District. The company holds over 89,600 hectares of exploration properties in the region.
