August 25, 2026 4:45 PM EDT

Renasant Corporation (NASDAQ: RNST) announced that Catherine Mealor will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replacing Jim Mabry, who plans to retire in early 2027.

Mealor is set to join Renasant on October 5, 2026, and will assume the CFO role on January 1, 2027. Mabry has served as CFO since August 2020 and will step down from that role at the end of 2026.

Mealor joins from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel company, where she covered small and mid-cap bank research across the southeastern United States. She has more than 20 years of experience analyzing financial services institutions and began her career at KBW in its investment banking department. She has served on FASB's Investor Advisory Committee since September 2021 and sits on the Williams School Board of Advisors at Washington and Lee University, from which she graduated cum laude. She will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Renasant's Board of Directors said it intends to nominate Mabry for election as a director at the company's 2027 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, subject to standard nominating procedures.

"I also want to thank Jim for his service and insight to Renasant, and me, over the past six years, where we successfully navigated numerous macroeconomic events, grew from $14 billion to $27 billion in assets, significantly improved profitability and successfully completed our largest merger," said Renasant President and CEO Kevin Chapman.

Renasant, based in Tupelo, Mississippi, is the parent of Renasant Bank and reported approximately $27.0 billion in assets. The company operates 279 offices throughout the Southeast.
