Regional Management names Lakhbir Lamba as new CEO

Regional Management Corp. (NYSE: RM) announced that Lakhbir Lamba will become president, chief executive officer and director effective November 10, 2025, replacing Robert W. Beck who plans to retire.
Beck will remain with the consumer finance company in an advisory role to assist with the transition until his official retirement on June 30, 2026. He has served as president, CEO and director for five and a half years.
Lamba brings nearly 30 years of experience in consumer lending and financial services. He most recently served as executive vice president and head of consumer lending and analytics at PNC Financial Services Group, where he oversaw 2,000 employees and managed a portfolio of $32 billion in total assets. He spent more than 15 years with PNC in various leadership roles including executive vice president of retail lending and analytics and portfolio management.
Lamba holds a Bachelor of Technology in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi and an MBA in finance and strategy from Purdue University's Krannert Graduate School of Management.
During Beck's tenure, Regional Management nearly doubled its net finance receivables and expanded operations to eight new states while investing in technology platforms and data analytics capabilities, according to the company's statement.
Regional Management operates under the "Regional Finance" brand online and in branch locations across 19 states, providing installment loan products primarily to customers with limited access to traditional consumer credit sources.
